Introduction
Welcome to Visual Arts Links, WESTAF's compendium of online resources for visual artists. With the needs of the emerging and/or mid-career artist in mind, we have organized a selection of Internet sites which address artists’ needs for information, funding, concentrated studio time and technical support.
For national, regional and state arts agencies, you are advised to check the sites listed on the "Art Resources & Contact Information" page (follow the link at the top of this page). WESTAF's "Visual Arts Links" were compiled by Mark Van Proyen, a San Francisco-based artist and art critic. He is Associate Professor of Art History, Painting and Digital Media at the San Francisco Art Institute and a Contributing Editor for "ArtWeek."
