- CultureGrants Online™ (CGO™) Community Meeting

Denver, CO. WESTAF supports professional development opportunities for the community of users of its CGO™ system. The group convenes twice a year to share their thoughts on how the system might better serve their needs, but also to discuss best practices of grantmaking and solicit advice from their peers about grantmaking processes. This meeting will be especially interesting to users as WESTAF's new and highly advanced GO:GrantsOnline™ (GO™) system--two years in the making and competitive with the largest grantmaking software systems on the market--has been released and will be discussed with current CGO™ users.

- The 2nd Annual ZAPP® Conference

Saint Louis, MO. The second annual ZAPP® Conference will again bring together art festival administrators and staff, artists, the ZAPP® Team, professional photographers and other users of the ZAPP® application and adjudication management system from all over the nation to discuss art fair processes and management, attend workshops on image formatting and financial strategies, and to discuss the current state and future of the art fair field.
- WESTAF Annual Cultural Policy Symposium

Aspen, CO. WESTAF's annual symposium on contemporary cultural policy will include discussion on the digital age and its effect on arts organizations, 21st century arts education, trends in financial frameworks for cultural organizations, and the modern arts agency.
- Perspectives on Cultural Tax Districts, Part II

Three years after the first successful seminar on cultural tax districts, held in Seattle, WA, in February, 2008, WESTAF will hold another seminar to present and discuss current thinking about tax districts to benefit the arts due to significant interest in this area.
